India Magnum gel insecticide for ants - 30 g cartridge

Description

A ready-to-use (RTU) gel insecticide that works by ingestion. The product contains denatonium benzoate, an extremely bitter substance that makes accidental ingestion by children unlikely. MAGNUM GEL ANTICHE has a delayed effect, appearing several hours after ingestion, to allow worker ants to transfer the product to other individuals in the nest, including queens and larvae, through a particular phenomenon called trophallaxis, which involves the sharing of food among individuals in the same colony.

Imidacloprid (CAS No. 138261-41-3) 0.01%
Bitrex® (Denatonium benzoate) 0.008%
Co-formulants q.b. at 100%

Warnings

The product can be used indoors (private homes and/or public buildings, whether residential, commercial, industrial) and outdoors (perimeter of buildings, terraces and private gardens).

Application

Dosage and method of use

MAGNUM GEL ANTS should be placed in small drops or alternatively in thin lines near the nests or paths made by ants.

Dose: 0.2 g/m2 (corresponding to one drop/a thin line 3 cm long). Read the label carefully before use. The gel should be applied to areas where ants are present, near nests, along their paths, or in cracks and crevices. For outdoor use (terraces, patios, courtyards, or gardens), the product should be applied to areas where ants are most likely to infest: windowsills, baseboards, cornices, and cable and pipe entry points. The area to be treated must be carefully inspected to determine the extent of the infestation. Remove any alternative food sources accessible to ants from adjacent areas. Do not contaminate the gel with traditional insecticides; do not apply to surfaces treated with traditional insecticides less than 3–4 weeks ago.
