Description

The formulation consists of a fresh paste palatable to the indicated rodent species. The product does not alert or arouse suspicion in other members of the rodent population. BROMUS RED contains a bittering substance intended to prevent accidental ingestion by children. BROMUS RED can be used in and around buildings such as homes, cellars, garages, storage rooms, and private gardens. TARGET ORGANISMS: House mouse (Mus musculus), both juveniles and adults; Brown rat (Rattus norvegicus), both juveniles and adults. The solution for eliminating mice and rats.

Warnings

Before use, read and follow the product instructions as well as the information accompanying the product or provided at the point of sale. Consider non-chemical control mechanisms (e.g., traps) before using rodenticides. Remove easily accessible food sources (e.g., spilled grain or food scraps). Additionally, do not clear the infested area immediately before treatment, as this only disturbs the rodent population and makes it more difficult for them to accept the bait. Bait containers should be placed in the immediate vicinity of previously observed rodent activity (e.g., walkways, nests, livestock pens, openings, burrows, etc.). Where possible, secure bait containers to the ground or other structures. Place the product out of reach of children, birds, pets, farm animals, and other non-target animals. Place the product away from food, drink, and animal feed, as well as from utensils or surfaces that may come into contact with the product. Do not place bait containers near drainage systems, as the bait may come into contact with water. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while using the product. Wash hands and directly exposed skin after using the product. At the end of the treatment period, remove any remaining bait or bait containers. Do not open the paper bag containing the fresh paste. Do not apply this product directly to burrows.
Consider preventive control measures to promote product uptake and reduce the likelihood of reinfestation (e.g., block possible openings, remove potential food and drinking sources as much as possible). Do not use anticoagulant rodenticides as permanent bait (e.g., to prevent possible infestations or to monitor rodent activity). Use of this product should eliminate rodents within 35 days. If ineffectiveness is suspected at the end of treatment (e.g., rodent activity is still observed), ask the product supplier for advice or call a pest control service. Check for dead rodents and remove them during treatment, at least as frequently as visiting the bait containers. At the end of treatment, dispose of uneaten bait and packaging in accordance with local regulations. Store in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated place. Keep the container closed.

BROMUS RED is a ready-to-use bait in the form of a fresh paste, to be used exclusively in tamper-proof, duly marked bait containers, protected from atmospheric agents, ingestion by non-target species and dispersion into the environment.

DOSES AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Use inside buildings: for the control of the House mouse (Mus musculus)Place 20-40 g of BROMUS RED per container. If more than one bait station is needed, the minimum distance between them should be 5 meters. Containers should be inspected every 2-3 days at the start of treatment and then at least weekly. This is to check the integrity of the container, the consumption of the bait, and, if necessary, to remove rodent carcasses. When
it is necessary to replenish the bait.

Use inside buildings: for the control of the Gray rat (Rattus norvegicus). Place 100-200 g of BROMUS RED per container. If more than one bait station is needed, the minimum distance between them should be 5 meters. Containers should be inspected every 5-7 days at the start of treatment and at least weekly thereafter. This is to check the container's integrity, bait consumption, and to remove any rodent carcasses. Replenish the bait when necessary.

Use around buildings: for the control of the Brown rat (Rattus norvegicus)Place 100-200 g of BROMUS RED per container. If more than one bait station is needed, the minimum distance between them should be 5 meters. Place the bait containers in areas not subject to flooding. Replace the bait containers if they become damaged by water or contaminated with dirt. Bait containers should be checked at least every 5-7 days at the start of treatment and at least weekly thereafter to check whether the bait is accepted, the containers are intact, and to remove rodent bodies. Refill the container as needed.

Due to their delayed mode of action, anticoagulant rodenticides may take 4 to 10 days after bait to become effective. Rodents can carry diseases. Do not handle dead rodents with bare hands; use gloves or tools such as tongs to dispose of them. This product contains a bittering agent and a colorant.
