InsectoSec® viene utilizzato per il controllo degli insetti striscianti. È costituito per il 100% da gusci di diatomee fossili (anche denominata terra di diatomee), presenti in natura. La sostanza attiva provoca la dissoluzione dei grassi della cuticola e la conseguente disidratazione degli insetti. InsectoSec® viene utilizzato nei recinti per il pollame, nelle aree industriali e istituzionali e nelle abitazioni private.

Dosi e modi d'uso:
Applicazione contro scarafaggi, formiche e acaro rosso del pollo (polverizzazione mediante irrorazione sulle superfici): dose contro gli insetti striscianti: 7 g/m²; dose contro l’acaro rosso del pollo: 50 g/m². Applicazione contro scarafaggi e formiche (polverizzazione mediante versamento con creazione di una barriera): 7 g/m. Applicazione contro le formiche (trattamento a barriera mediante polverizzazione) 5 g/nido oppure trattamento a barriera 7 g/m, larghezza della barriera 1–3 cm.
