Characteristics
The active ingredient, Alpha-cypermethrin, a member of the pyrethroid family of chemicals, is a non-systemic insecticide-acaricide with contact and ingestion effects. It acts on the central and peripheral nervous systems at very low doses.
Fields of application
Alfasect is suitable for insecticide treatments in the following environments: domestic premises, public buildings including hospitals, hotels and restaurants, kitchens, food processing plants, stables, animal shelters, and chicken coops. The product can be used in constantly occupied areas only for localized treatments or on cracks or crevices.
TARGET PESTS
Flying insects (flies, mosquitoes) – Crawling insects (cockroaches, ants, bed bugs) – Chicken mites, ticks.
DOSES AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Normal dose: For routine treatments against flying and crawling insects, chicken red mite and ticks, dilute 25 ml of product in 5 litres of water, then apply 1 litre of the resulting solution for 20 m2 surface.
Special dose: For use where a strong residual action is required or on dirty or particularly absorbent surfaces, dilute 50 ml of product in 5 litres of water, then apply 1 litre of the solution obtained for 20 minutes.2 surface.
Apply using standard hand or motor pumps, equipped to produce coarse sprays. Add the appropriate amount of ALFASECT to the required volume of clean water and shake. Apply to surfaces frequented by insects, especially cracks, crevices, and behind furniture or equipment.
Flying insects: apply on surfaces where insects stop.
Cockroaches and other crawling insects: Spray around utility lines, behind and under furniture, beds, and equipment. If insects enter from outside, spray a 10 cm wide barrier in front of doors, windows, etc.
Black cockroach (Alphitobius diaperinus): Apply as a routine treatment after cleaning and before each new cycle. Spray all vertical surfaces, e.g., walls, partitions, workstations, and ensure overlap with the ceiling. Floor treatment is not necessary.
Red chicken mite (Dermanissus gallinae): Apply at the normal dose at the beginning of the growing season, before the chicks are introduced into the house. Spray the entire surface of cages, nests, aviaries, and floors, if applicable. Pay particular attention to corners, cracks, and crevices where mites can nest. Do not spray directly on chickens when used during the growing season.
Ticks: spray around animal shelters, kennels and kennel cages.
