Description

RATADIOL GRANO 27 is a ready-to-use rodenticide bait based on Bromadiolone in pre-dosed sachets, effective against mice and rats. The particular formulation is especially palatable for rodents already accustomed to feeding on grains. The product does not alert or arouse suspicion in other members of the rodent population. RATADIOL GRANO 27 contains a bittering substance designed to prevent accidental ingestion by children. RATADIOL GRANO 27 can be used in and around rural and residential buildings, homes, cellars, garages, storage rooms, and private gardens. TARGET ORGANISMS - House mouse (Mus musculus), both juveniles and adults, Brown rat (Rattus norvegicus), both juveniles and adults, Black rat (Rattus rattus), both juveniles and adults. RISK MITIGATION MEASURES

Consider preventive control measures to promote product uptake and reduce the likelihood of reinfestation (e.g., block possible openings, remove potential food and drinking sources as much as possible). Do not use anticoagulant rodenticides as permanent bait (e.g., to prevent possible infestations or to monitor rodent activity). The product is not intended for permanent use; schedule treatments lasting a maximum of 6 weeks. If treatment is suspected to be ineffective after completion of the treatment (e.g., rodent activity is still observed), ask the product supplier for advice or call a pest control service. Check for dead rodents and remove them during treatment, at least as frequently as you visit the bait containers. At the end of treatment, dispose of uneaten bait and packaging in accordance with local regulations. Store in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated place. Keep the container closed and away from direct sunlight. Store in a place inaccessible to children, birds, pets, and livestock.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE AND WARNINGS

Before use, read and follow the product instructions as well as the information accompanying the product or provided at the point of sale. Consider non-chemical control mechanisms (e.g., traps) before using rodenticides. Remove easily accessible food sources for rodents (e.g., spilled grain or food scraps). Additionally, do not clean the infested area immediately before treatment, as this only disturbs the rodent population and makes it more difficult to gain acceptance of the bait. Bait containers should be placed in the immediate vicinity of previously observed rodent activity. Where possible, secure bait containers to the ground or other structures. Place the product out of reach of children, birds, pets, farm animals, and other non-target animals. Place the product away from food, drink, and animal feed, as well as utensils or surfaces that may come into contact with the product. Do not place bait containers near drainage systems, as the bait may come into contact with water. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while using the product. Wash hands and directly exposed skin after using the product. At the end of the treatment period, remove any remaining bait or bait containers. Do not open the bag containing the loose grain.

INFORMATION FOR THE DOCTOR

This product contains an anticoagulant. If ingested, symptoms, which may be delayed, may include bleeding from the nose or gums. In severe cases, bruising and blood in the stool and urine may occur. Antidote: Vitamin K1, administered only by medical/veterinary personnel.

In case of:

Skin exposure, wash the skin with water and then with soap and water.
Ocular exposure, Rinse eyes with water or eyewash, keeping eyelids open for at least 10 minutes.
Oral presentation, Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do not induce vomiting.
In case of ingestion, contact a doctor immediately and show the product container or label. Contact a veterinarian if a pet ingests the product.

Bait containers must be labeled with the following information "do not move or open"; "contains a rodenticide"; "product name or authorization number"; "active substance(s)" And "In case of accident, consult a Poison Control Center." Dangerous to wildlife.

APPLICATION METHODS

RATADIOL GRANO 27 is a ready-to-use bait in grain form, to be used exclusively in tamper-proof, duly marked bait containers, protected from atmospheric agents, ingestion by non-target species and dispersion into the environment.

DOSES AND METHODS OF USE

Use indoors to control the House Mouse (Mus musculus). Place 50-60 g of RATADIOL GRANO 27 per container. If multiple containers are needed, place them at least 5 meters apart. In case of heavy infestation, reduce the distance to 2 meters. Containers should be
Inspect every 2-3 days at the start of treatment and at least weekly thereafter. This is to verify the integrity of the containers, bait consumption, and, if necessary, remove rodent carcasses. Replenish the bait when necessary. Use inside and around buildings to control the brown rat (Rattus norvegicus) and the black rat (Rattus rattus).
Place 80-150 g of RATADIOL GRANO 27 per container. If multiple bait containers are needed, place them at least 10 meters apart. In case of heavy infestation, reduce the distance to 5 meters. Protect the bait from atmospheric conditions (e.g. rain, snow, etc.). Place the containers with
the bait in areas not subject to flooding. Containers should be inspected every 5-7 days at the beginning of treatment and then at least weekly. This is to ensure
check the integrity of the containers, the consumption of the bait, and, if necessary, remove any rodent carcasses.
Replenish the bait when necessary. Replace the bait in the containers if it becomes damaged by water or contaminated by dirt. Follow any further instructions provided by relevant good practices.
